Hi! I’m Julie Pietz, The Cake Chic!

I think my love for cooking & baking started with Chocolate Chip Cookies. Everyone loved them—and I loved making them!

That love lead to a 10+-year career as a personal chef in three different states. Over the years, I have done cakes for my clients for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, all sorts of important events. The cakes were always a hit, and many of my clients encouraged me to do cakes on a more regular basis—so here I am!

So why “The Cake Chic”? When my best friend got engaged, we were living in different states and I had not yet met her fiancé. In his mind, I was “the cake chic”—and I guess the name stuck!

At The Cake Chic, we believe great cakes are not only beautiful, but delicious. Our cakes are fresh, moist and flavorful. Whether you choose all buttercream or home-made fondant, your cake will taste as good as it looks.
